History and Background :  

Pac Pro Sourcing Consultants Inc. was formed in 2002 by a dedicated group of experienced consumer products packaging sourcing executives who had several things in common. Authoritative experience in the Consumer Products and Packaging businesses and the passionate belief that there was a critical need for a new roadmap to turn good performance into great performance for our clients. Our associates have more than 70 years of direct industry experience coupled with strong academic credentials.

We believe in doing a few things but doing them exceedingly well.

Collectively we have sourced and managed billions of pounds of packaging raw materials and we continually track these markets and bring reliable global benchmarks into our client work. Our business model is based on a focused and disciplined approach to packaging sourcing that has been proven to deliver breakthrough results to each and every client challenge. This has been true in the most challenging environments. Our experience suggests that 20%-30% plus in cost reduction is typical. Of greater importance are the processes, techniques and tools we impart to our clients. Compensation is based on hard number results as well as the values we embed with our clients.

You might well ask, why focus so narrowly on packaging? Packaging represents a unique challenge for clients because there are many stakeholders; Marketing, Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics etc. Purchasing professionals cannot successfully utilize the same choices in packaging sourcing strategies and tactics that work effectively on many other types of purchases.
